When you are living with grief and facing the loss of a loved one, it can feel lonely and like no one really understands.

Our culture often only allows us to share about our grief and loss for about two weeks until we start to feel the pressure to “get over it.” But there is no getting over grief. Whether we are facing a future loss or grieving one from the past, the pain can come and go. In addition, grief can be complicated. Unexpected or a lack of emotions are very normal, but can cause us to feel guilty and question ourselves. You don’t need someone to help you get over your grief, but you may need someone to sit with you while you are in your grief.

I have worked in grief and loss for my entire 20+ year career. I have provided support for people experiencing the illness and death of loved ones, family estrangement, breakups, friendships gone awry, pet loss, and the many griefs that come with life. I can provide deep listening and ways to cope with your grief to help you both honor the loss you’ve experienced and also be able to be present in your life despite the pain.
